If you serve a table with several customers, how would you remember a long list of orders? I personalize their experience according to the level of service they are looking for and I go beyond their expectations by offering them solutions even before they can raise their problems.
Food service
professionals must be able to manage the customer experience in terms of food preparation, beverage service, and customer interaction. Unless you apply to one of the famous fast food chains or restaurants (think Taco Bell, Burger King, or Pizza Hut), you won't compete with many other people for the position. In fact, there are 14.9 million food service workers who do everything they can to make every dining experience satisfying and memorable.The manager or interviewer would be happy to know that you're applying for a job at Applebee's (for example) because their specific mission sounds good to you or because you like their food more than that of any other comparable restaurant, especially in the food industry, where employers face virtually unlimited competition and job seekers are far from loyal. There are countless job offers in the foodservice industry right now, making your situation easier. You can say that you would take some precautions, but that you would do everything possible to make them happy with your service. When asked this question, a good answer would illustrate your knowledge of customer service and your ability to work efficiently.
This would be my first position in a restaurant; however, my previous experience in retail has allowed me to face many of the same objectives and challenges of the restaurant industry, such as first-rate service, high efficiency and optimal customer satisfaction.
